Facebook?

Why are many people getting hooked up with facebook? I think almost people in our unit is hooked up with it. Well actually, I have an account with them before and I deleted it but lately my colleagues convinced me to create one. I'm not yet familiar with the site but by the way my friends are talking I think it's one great site and they are totally addicted with it!
